Start with the guide

The field guide walks through a full session, from opening a folder to exporting. Inside the app, choose Help ▸ Lumanti Guide (⌘?) for the same chapters with screenshots, and Help ▸ Keyboard Shortcuts for every key.

Checking your camera

Lumanti requires an Apple silicon Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later. RAW files are read by macOS, so support depends on your camera model, its recording format and your version of macOS.

• Open a few RAW files from your exact camera and compression mode before you rely on Lumanti for a whole shoot.
• Updating macOS can add support for newer cameras.
• Keep each photograph’s sidecar beside it. Moving originals without their sidecars leaves the edits behind.

Your files and edits

Lumanti never rewrites your original photographs. Edits, ratings and decisions are saved in sidecar files next to each photo, and the full edit history is kept in Lumanti’s data on this Mac. Back up both alongside your originals.

Shared Looks

A shared Look link or QR code carries the whole recipe inside the link itself. Opening it on a Mac with Lumanti installed adds the Look to your Looks. How shared Looks work.
